FRIENDS, how many of us have them?

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up."
~ Bible: Ecclesiastes

Living in a world filled with deceit and betrayal makes it hard for us to trust, therefore making it even harder for us to build friendships. Every time you look up, you see backstabbing unforgivable situations going on around you, or you've probably been through it yourself. I have been through so much when it comes to FRIENDS...HONESTLY, TOO MUCH! If you ask GOD to Reveal, just know...HE WILL! I really believe true friendship is vital and it also says A LOT ABOUT YOURSELF! Life is all about taking risks because nothing is guaranteed to any of us. True friends are difficult to come by and should be cherished. Everyone deserves at least one real friend to turn to whether times are good, bad, or indifferent. The good times are always better with a best friend to share them with, and bad times always seem a little more tolerable when we have a friend to lean on. Life would be terribly dull and lonely without friends, but I do advise all people to select their friends wisely. There are a few qualities that you should look for in a person before you open your heart and your life to them.

LADIES: We need REAL friends...

1. A real friend should always make time to be with you if you're in need. Of course, everyone has many responsibilities in their day to day lives, but when it comes to the big stuff, you have to be able to rely on this person.

2. A friend should be good at keeping secrets. Sometimes, secrets are too much of a burden to keep to ourselves, but we can't trust them to just anyone. A real friend would never betray your trust in them and keep your secrets always.

3. A friend should be sympathetic to your problems and try to help you find solutions. Problems never seem quite so bad if we have someone else to help us with them.

4. A friend should never be judgmental. Everyone is human and we all make mistakes. A friend should try to be understanding of this and not make harsh comments when we're most vulnerable.

5. A friend should support you even when you're wrong. They don't have to agree with what you did, but they should be there to help you through it.

6. A friend would never do anything to intentionally hurt you. We all say things we don't mean from time to time, but a real friend would never go out of their way to make you unhappy or harm you in any way.

7. A friend should never be jealous of you. They should be happy for you any time that something fortunate happens in your life.

8. A real friend will do nice things for you just because. There doesn't have to be a reason other than they just want to see you smile.

9. A real friend will always tell you the truth if there is something that you need to know. Especially something that could hurt you, even if they have been forbidden to tell you. A real friend will always have your well-being as a top priority.

10. A friend should be open, honest, and willing to share all the little details of their life with you, within reason, of course....

The TOP 10 qualities in a REAL friend are: HONESTY, a good listener, Trustworthiness, Respect, Good company, Patience, Forgiveness, Encouragement, Caring and LOVE!

A Cute Poem I Found

Real friends stay true,
Fake friends leave you and abandon you;
They are only there for the good,
They are never there for the bad.

Real friends stay
Even when you have nothing,
Real friends can pull strings
And make miracles happen.

People change through time,
They have the same face
But under it is a screw face;
They will disappear without a trace.

Real friends wait,
Fake friends leave in a quickness;
To have a true friend
Means you are truly blessed.
